JONESBORO — Authorities are investigating a late Tuesday night small plane crash in south Clayton County.
According to the Clayton County Police Department, officers were dispatched to the south Clayton area to respond to a plane in distress.
Officers were told that the private plane was running out of gas, the CCPD said.
After over an hour search, officers found the private plane in the 300th block of Tara Beach Lane in Jonesboro.
Clayton Police said two females were found on the forest floor with injuries.
Police said the women were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
