Lake City Police Department T.A.C. Coordinator and Records Custodian Brandy Hicks recently was named the 2023 Administrative Assistant of the Year by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police. She received her award at the Administrative Assistant Seminar Awards Luncheon on Sept. 27. “Congratulations, Brandy,” a statement from the Lake City Police Department read. “We couldn’t be more proud. Our wonderful police officers are the face of the police department, but you are the heart of our organization.”
