ELLENWOOD — Clayton County Animal Control is holding a pet adoption event Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Animal Control Adoption Center, 3199 Anvil Block Road, Ellenwood.
The first 10 dogs adopted will be free and the first five cat adoptions will be free.
Reclaim fees will be waived if the owner is willing to pay $65 to have their animal spayed or neutered with Animal Control prior to returning to owner.
One-year rabies vaccination and mandatory microchipping will be available for a $40 fee. Microchipped animals will still be $40.
